Maxine Fox is on her last chance.
Having used drugs and alcohol to try and numb the pain after the loss of her mother, Max’s father forces her to attend an all-girls Catholic school. Max despises everything about the place from the nuns running the school, to the horrendous uniforms. But then Max meets her new tutor Jessie, and for the first time in what seems like forever, makes Max feel something other than pain. Maybe the school might not be so bad after all. Everyone knows that the path to love and happiness is never straight forward, but for Max and Jessie, the lyrics to their love song, might just end up being a heartbreaking ballad. |
